McLaren 570GT 2017

When a returning client got back in touch with the team at Fast Car Finance, he had a clear goal, upgrade from his 2011 Aston Martin Vantage to a 2017 McLaren 570GT. As well as the change of car he wanted to ensure the changed happened in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

He loved the character and sound of the Vantage, but wanted something more modern, with sharper performance and greater day-to-day usability. The McLaren 570GT delivered exactly that, lighter, faster, and more technology-focused, with a more contemporary interior and grand-touring practicality.

Because the existing car was funded through the client’s business, the agreement did not fall under Consumer Credit Act protections. That means funders are not obligated to provide early settlement rebates in the same way they typically are for personal agreements. Knowing this, we approached the situation strategically.

We first obtained a settlement figure on the current agreement, then approached the same funder regarding the replacement vehicle. As the client was refinancing into a new agreement with them, we were able to secure enhanced settlement terms that would not normally be available on a straight early payoff. This significantly improved the overall upgrade position.

Once the new funding was approved, we coordinated closely with a dealer we’ve successfully worked with before, ensuring every stage, from documentation to vehicle handover  ran smoothly and on schedule. The result was a seamless transition from old car to new, with minimal disruption to the client. Both we and the supplying dealer were pleased to receive a strong testimonial following completion.
