A new client of Fast Car Finance was recommended to speak to us by a friend, one who had previously used us to secure low rate car finance. Having been turned down for car finance by the supplying Jaguar dealer, the client was looking for a car finance to enable him to purchase the new Jaguar F Pace. This prospective client was looking to buy a beautiful example of 5 litre supercharged Jaguar XKR convertible sports car. Whilst we always like a challenge.   This was a Challenge of a Challenge.   A customer came to us wanting to release equity against a very rare car.   It was actually undergoing major renovation and the car was completely stripped down.   The vehicle was declared off the road to the DVLA.   As the car was so rare it was hard for any potential Lender to use any recent auction activity to determine the current market value.   Against this the customer wanted to raise  £300,00 in a relatively short time-frame (2-3 weeks).   So we employed the services of a respected classic car dealer who inspected the car in situ and provided us with a written summary of the car’s condition and most importantly it’s value once restoration was complete.   The valuation of the car was in excess of the amount of monies required for the loan.   With our in-depth Lender knowledge we found the right funder for the car and our customer was over the moon that his vastly appreciating asset was still in his possession – yet he had the funds released for an exciting new project.

A 9 year old Jaguar was the purchase for this existing customer. Due to some blips on his credit which were down   to circumstances beyond his control he was keen for us to work within his exacting budget and with a minimal deposit to boot. With only an 8% deposit, a checkered credit history and a limit on monthly repayments we managed to get a 4 year term ending with a balloon payment which matched his requirements perfectly.

A long-standing customer of our Asset Finance Division (Thames Valley Asset Finance) who knows us well, came to us with a slightly different brief. He had been looking for some time, for the right car and thanks to the Internet he found it!   BUT the car was in America which can put off UK-based Lenders.   What Fast Car Finance did was to create a two-step financial package – meaning firstly he could get the car over to the UK and secondly finance it in his own personal name.
