An exiting client of over 10 years was looking to upgrade his McLaren 570 for a McLaren 720S.
He was definitely a supercar fan as we had previously financed a Ferrari and a Lamborghini! As his trusted finance broker the client knew who to speak to when looking for his next purchase. Offering sound advice and being a good sounding board we were able to arrange supercar finance with a balloon payment at the end of the agreement.
His exiting car went in part exchange so there was no additional cash for him to find.
A balloon payment defers all or part of the capital until the end of term, but does mean monthly repayments are lower. In this instance the balloon payment matched the amount of finance so the client only paid interest over the term. However, after 4 years the balloon payment will fall due and will be the client’s responsibility.
