Celebrating Entrepreneurs Day – Britain’s top entrepreneurs and their impressive car collections
In celebration of Entrepreneurs Day, we wanted to feature some of the most famous Entrepreneurs in the UK and their amazing car collections.
We recently wrote about Microsoft founder Bill Gates’ collection on our new blog, so we won’t feature him again. But you can check out last month’s post to find out more about his Porsches, (he also owns a Jaguar XJ6, Ferrari 348 and a Mercedes for every-day use!)
Peter Jones, Dragons Den – net worth $367m
Peter has famously declared that his children won’t inherit his money, however that hasn’t stopped him from investing in several classic and luxury sports cars. Here’s a video of his car collection.
Jones’ first car was an Alfa Romeo Alfasud – given that his kids get £25 a month (after doing their chores), it’s unlikely they’ll be able to afford the same when they get their license!
Duncan Bannatyne, Dragons Den – net worth $645m
Keen to demonstrate his green credentials, we know that fellow Dragon Duncan has purchased a BMW i8 hybrid supercar. You can find out more about the £115k car here. Duncan has also installed Instavolt points at his gyms which is a great demonstration of his commitment to helping the environment.
Lord Alan Sugar, The Apprentice – net worth $1.4 bn
Lord Sugar is an avid Rolls Royce fan and his infamous AMS1 number plate makes an appearance on every episode of the Apprentice. In 2018, Lord Sugar was delighted to re-buy his first Rolls back – 36 years after he first bought it in 1982. Isn’t that lovely! But you probably wouldn’t want to swap places with Lord Sugar’s chauffer when he pranged his £250,000 Rolls Royce.
