Dream Convertibles 2021

With reports of a summer heatwave on its way, the Fast Car Finance team thought we’d share our favourite convertibles to see if they can give you any inspiration for summer driving!
Porsche 911 Targa 4S
Business Development Manager Steve Kayll has dreamed of owning a Porsche since he was a boy, so his dream car would be a Porsche 911 Targa S. We recently arranged Porsche finance on an immaculate model for a client and although it’s an incredibly impressive (and well built) car, it’s still practical enough for everyday driving. Steve’s dream would be to turn heads in Scotland as he undertakes the North Coast 500.

We’ve arranged Porsche finance for a number of models, but very few are convertible. You can check them out here.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante
Business Development Manager Carol Westlake dreams of owning an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante. A truly iconic car, the Aston Martin Superleggera Volante offers both speed and elegance. Carol’s dream would be to zip down the French or Italian Riviera with the roof down (shades on of course). Going from 0-100 in 6.7 seconds and with top speeds of 211 miles per hour, we’d hope that Carol would cruise around those hairpin bends at a sensible speed, but knowing that the car can reach those impressive speeds is enough.
If you want to check out some other Aston Martin’s that Fast Car Finance has provided Aston Martin finance for, check out this stunning Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, Aston Martin DB9 Volante and Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster.
At a RRP of £225,000, it’s sadly out of Carol’s price range for now and it’s perhaps not as handy as her Mini for parking at the shops.
Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder
And last but not least, Fast Car Finance MD Andy Wise dreams of owning a Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. An iconic car from the 1986 classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off which is one of Andy’s favourite films. As a teenager, Andy admired Ferris who skipped a day off school and managed to persuade his best friend to borrow his Dad’s Ferrari.
Sensibly, three replica models were used in the movie, however a real Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder would set you back in the region of $18 million – that’s about £12 million! For this reason, they’re incredibly rare and not often spotted out on the roads, so it’s unlikely that you’ll see the sequel to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Andy Wise’s Day Off).
More realistically, Andy could live out his Ferris Bueller dream by taking a day off (or longer) and drive through Europe in one of these amazing Ferraris instead, which Fast Car Finance has arranged financing for:
- FERRARI F430 SPIDER which you could own for £71,000 with payments of £800 per month*
- FERRARI 458 SPIDER which our client pays just over £1,000 per month for and has an On the Road price of £162,500*
- FERRARI 355 SPIDER which retails at £74,000 and had a low monthly repayment of £770*
*Balloon residuals apply to each Ferrari finance illustration – check each example for the full details.
