Although it’s only a 2-seater, the Audi TT does benefit from plenty of leg room and a large boot (perfect for your suitcases). With any convertible, noise when driving is inevitable, but Audi has developed a strong chassis so that there isn’t a rattling noise and you can add wind deflectors so that you can avoid being blown around too much.

- Bentley Continental
If you’re looking for something a little more prestigious, then nothing will turn heads quite like a Bentley Continental. With a brand new model starting at £175,000, it isn’t a low-cost option, but it regularly receives five star reviews so Bentley are able to justify their price.
What’s so amazing about this drop top? The engine sizes range from a 6-litre twin turbo W12 (good for a 626 BHP) or a smaller 4-litre V8 (542 BHP). Both will perform brilliantly, so you’ll be pleasantly surprised at their speed and performance.
From a practical perspective, the Bentley system packs the four layered fabric roof away in under 20 seconds and can do it at speeds of up to 30 mph. Plus, it’s practically silent too. Inside, you’ll get a top of the range infotainment system (hidden behind a panel), the seats exude luxury and the interior is widely regarded as one of the best in any modern car.
As you would expect, a Bentley Continental isn’t a cheap car to run. However, a £175,000 price ticket is too much, why not consider a used model? - Lamborghini Gallardo Performante LP570-4 2012
It wouldn’t be a Fast Car Finance ‘top three list’ without including a supercar. A Lamborghini Gallardo Spider not only turns heads, but has the performance to back it up. Beneath the glass engine cover is a 52bhp 5.2-litre V10 powerplant. Driving a Lamborghini is always an incredible experience, but here you can enjoy going from 0-60mph in just 3.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of just over 200mph (in the right conditions of course). The Gallardo was replaced by the Huracan in 2014, but these very rare cars remain hugely popular amongst wealthy car enthusiasts.
The boot space is limited on these models, so you might need to travel fairly light, and the low position of the car may feel a little cramped, especially for taller drivers.
