The team at Fast Car Finance were introduced to this particular client by an independent Ferrari dealership, who we have worked with for a number of years.
We knew the dealership would be on hand to answer any technical questions about the car, while we arranged the finance. With the sunny weather arriving, it seemed the perfect time to be looking at purchasing a used Ferrari F430 Spider. With a 4.3 litre V8 engine and a top speed of over 190 mph, what’s not to like!
With the client being a business owner he had previously funded a car via his limited company. However, for this weekend car funding was arranged in his personal name. Financing a car in your personal name is generally via a ‘Regulated’ finance agreement and on most occasions you have the protection of the Consumer Credit Act. This gives you a number of benefits over a non-regulated agreement, including the ability to settle early without penalty.

To keep within the client’s monthly budget, we arranged a regulated Hire Purchase loan over 60 months with a final balloon payment. By deferring part of the capital to the end of the agreement, it has the effect of reducing the monthly payment. Having met the client face to face to sign the payment, payment was swiftly made to the dealer with the client being able to collect the car and enjoy the benefits of having the top down.
