We believe in helping people to ‘Drive your Dream’ and this was no exception for a returning Fast Car Finance customer. Having (heartbreakingly) sold his Ferrari 550 Maranello a number of years before due to his financial circumstances at the time, we were delighted when he contacted us again to ask how to finance a Ferrari as he had seen another immaculate model.
Our client was so intent on securing this car, that he called us to discuss his Ferrari financing options on the way to test drive the car! Not wanting to miss out on this model, he paid for the car outright that day and arranged for it to be delivered to him. We were then able to arrange Ferrari finance and for the monies paid to the dealer on the day to be paid back to him retrospectively.
When our client had possession of the Ferrari 550 Maranello, we arranged for an inspection at his residential property where we took photographs and confirmed all the necessary paperwork. As the client had already bought the car outright, he was essentially the supplier of the vehicle, so he invoiced the finance company and was paid back the balance. This is known as a “Sale and Hire Purchase back” transaction and is an excellent way to secure classic car finance quickly if there is a model that you don’t want to lose out on.
