The iconic Volkswagen Golf GTi, has seen various iterations since its launch and the older models are now becoming rather collectable. Having identified a wonderful example that was due to go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions, a longstanding client was keen to secure the car to add to his growing collection.
Knowing the customer well and having previously worked with him, the Fast Car Finance team arranged a flexible finance facility that allowed the customer to bid for the car and secure it on the day it went under the hammer. The customer purchased the car on the day and we then arranged to reimburse him a few days later (subject to a copy of the auction house invoice and proof of payment).
