A current client of FCF, we had previously arranged finance to enable him to purchase a Ferrari 599. Two years later and following a recent trip to his local independent Ferrari dealership, this had resulted in a desire to swap the current Ferrari 599 for a lovely example of a Ferrari F430 Spider. Having agreed a part exchange on the 599, it was now a case of organising the finance on the 4.3 litre V8 convertible that was going to replace it.
Knowing the supplying Ferrari dealer well, we set about obtaining a professional valuation on the car from the lender, paying particular attention to its likely value in a further three years’ time. With our independent vehicle valuation safely received, we were then confident to recommend to the customer a balloon payment (the lump sum payable at the end of the loan term) of £45,000.
This due diligence enabled us to structure monthly repayments for the customer that were fractionally less than he was currently paying on his Ferrari 599 and at an even lower APR of 6.4%
