Fast Car Finance are proud to say we can arrange pretty much any finance deal and this was no exception. Our client, an Independent Financial Advisor, had reached a point in his life where he simply wanted to drive the car of his dreams. For him, it was a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta (1997).
This wasn’t a standard transaction for us, because the vendor was a collector looking to reduce his collection. It is tricky, but not impossible for our clients to purchase a car through a private individual. With no authorised dealer in this transaction, we needed to make a number of checks that the vendor did legitimately own the car, that it was mechanically sound and didn’t have any remaining finance deals associated with it.
Once we had established that the transaction could go ahead, Fast Car Finance arranged £66,000 Ferrari finance whilst the country was in lockdown! The vendor was underwritten, and we collated all the necessary paperwork.
This transaction was particularly challenging because of our client’s age. At 55, he was able to draw the deposit from his pension fund, which added extra complexity. We agree with our client’s sentiment: it’s certainly time he enjoyed himself and we are glad we helped him to purchase the Ferrari he’s always dreamed of owning.
