Hamilton Wins Chinese Grand Prix!
Victory in China for Lewis Hamilton, Vettel took second place for Ferrari and there was a massive fight between teammates Verstappen and Ricciardo for third and fourth place for Red Bull.They were going hammer and tongs until the bitter end. It was a very close finishing order for the race in general. Today saw Hamilton’s 54th Grand Prix win and it almost feels like Hamilton and Vettel are playing out a similar battle that we saw between Senna and Prost way back when in the 1990s… Pundits think that wins this season will see-saw between Ferrari and Mercedes. We shall see, but for now Hamilton moves into joint first place in the drivers’ championship with Vettel. One ‘oops’ moment, on about lap 49, was when Valtteri Bottas’ Engineer told him he could potentially take 4th place, the Engineer accidentally called him Nico – old habits die hard! Well done Lewis!
