Chinese Grand Prix – 9th April

Next up on the 2017 F! Calendar is the Chinese Grand Prix. Located on the edge of Shanghai, the track has a capacity of 200,000 spectators, but it has only filled those seats when the first Grand Prix was held there in 2004. The contract to hold the Grand Prix is up for renewal, making this technically the last Chinese Grand Prix. But with new owners and with China being such a lucrative market, it would seem more than likely that the contract will be renewed. Lewis Hamilton has had the most success here as a driver, winning 4 times and poignantly Michael Schumacher’s last Formula 1 Race win was at this circuit back in 2006.
