Our long-standing, loyal client recently returned to Fast Car Finance to finance a balloon payment that was about to fall due on one of the cars in his collection. Having recently financed a new motorhome and a new Land Rover Defender with us, he again turned to Fast Car Finance to restructure the lump sum payment now payable on his beautiful Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a track day car that you can legally use on the road!
The client had utilised the supplying dealer’s Porsche car finance offering when he had originally bought the vehicle a few years ago, and he now needed to pay the lump sum due (a sizeable sum at just under £100,000). We were able to restructure the finance by way of a new four-year term loan for the balloon payment that was now due, thus spreading the cost over a suitable period of time and preserving the customer’s own cash to put to better use.
Given the large sum of money involved and with a requirement to inspect the vehicle for the new lender, we met up with the client face to face to arrange the Porsche finance, and we took photographs and videos of the car, checking its service history and evidencing the customer was the cars keeper via the V5 certificate.
We were then able to arrange direct settlement of the outstanding finance with the incumbent lender on the clients behalf, thus ensuring that the existing agreement was settled quickly whilst at the same time making sure the new loan was quickly set up in the correct manner to enable title in the vehicle to pass from one lender to the other.
